Aw, hell. The Associated Press is reporting that Hunter S. Thompson is dead.

And today it’s being reported that Dr. Thompson was on the phone with his wife when he pulled the trigger.

I can’t decide if that’s horrendously cruel or hilariously sick.

On reflection, I don’t suppose anything can be the latter without being the former.
