The Looming Specter of Penury

Hopefully some of the temp agencies will start coming through with jobs. In the meantime, yesterday I walked into the neighborhood Payless Shoestore and applied for a job, figuring that part-time at minimum wage is still better than, you know, nothing. Apparently it'll take five to seven days to hear back from them.

Man, if I get turned down by Payless I'm going to be really depressed.
