laughingacademyI did in fact attend the New York City premiere of Peter Jackson’s King Kong and the appropriately gigantic after-party at Pier 92. It was by far the best night I’ve had this year. The movie is extraordinary—beautiful, intelligently scripted, well cast, with nearly seamless effects and some of the most breathtaking actions sequences I’ve ever seen. And yes, I did cry at the end.
